Decent products, but the business side is tough

I've been a customer and tried to be a consultant for Maruko for about a year. Their shapewear and foundation garments are genuinely high quality and very comfortable. I really do like the fit and how they make me feel. However, the business aspect was a lot harder than I anticipated. The training was good, but the pressure to recruit and hit sales targets felt constant. I ended up just buying for myself because selling enough to make a decent profit was just too time-consuming and stressful for me. Good products, but the MLM model isn't for everyone.

Found my passion

I found my passion with Maruko. The products align with my values, and I love helping others discover them. The income is a bonus, but the personal growth has been invaluable.

Could be better

I had some success initially, but it wasn't as easy or profitable as they made it sound. The training was okay, but the emphasis on recruitment over actual sales was a bit off-putting. It's an interesting concept, but the reality of selling and recruiting is much harder than presented.

Don't Join This MLM

I joined thinking I could make a full-time income but ended up spending more on products than I ever earned. The upline was only interested in recruiting, not actually helping me sell. Autoship charges kept coming even after I tried to cancel. Would not recommend.

Couldn't make a dime

Despite all my efforts, I never made any significant income. It felt like a pyramid-like structure. I felt constant pressure to recruit new members, which made me uncomfortable and strained my relationships. The upline was only interested in recruiting, not actually helping me sell.
